Aditya Roy Kapur became a star with the Mohit Suri’s directorial venture Aashiqui 2. He along Shraddha Kapoor rose to fame with this intense romantic drama flick as before it both were mainly working as a second fiddle to a lead role in movies.
However, after Aashiqui 2, things have not turned well for Aditya Roy Kapur. Shraddha, from there, has become a great star with great movies like ABCD 2, Haider and Stree. However, for Aditya Roy Kapur, things have not gone well with movies like Dawat-E-Ishq, Fitoor and OK Jaanu.
According to Bollywood Hungama, “Mohit Suri was keen on reuniting with Aditya Roy Kapur and thought that this would be a good script. He has also got Disha Patani on board. He seems to be quite impressed with the actress’ work and thinks that this would be a fresh pairing onscreen. It is said to be a revenge thriller that will be extensively shot against the backdrop of Goa.”
