As per the reports released by the government on Thursday, the inflation based on wholesale prices rose to 2.93% in February month due to increased rates of primary needs, fuel, and power.
In this year January, the Wholesale Price Index (WPI) based Inflation stood at 2.76%. It was 2.74 % in February month.
The inflation on primary essentials like potato, onion, fruits, and milk increased to 4.84% during February here as it stood at 3.54% in January month.
