The daily earning of 9000 dirhams of a beggar is equivalent to the monthly earnings of a well-placed business executive in the country. Even though beggary is banned in Dubai, these beggars do their work without getting the attention of the authorities.
Recently, the Dubai authorities have caught as many as 60 beggars and from one of them, the police obtained the crucial facts of the begging business in Dubai. The Dubai authorities seized 270,000 dirhams from just one beggar.
He revealed that the daily earnings of his and fellow beggars in Dubai is in the range of 9000 dirhams per day.
The Dubai authorities have reportedly vowed to remove beggary from their nation.
