Mahesh Babu wrote on his Twitter page, “deeply saddened to hear about Sri Lanka Attacks. Such a disgusting act of cowardice. My prayers and strength to the victims and their families in these tough times.”
Telugu Desam Party national President N. Chandrababu Naidu and YSR Congress party chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy have also condemned the series of blasts in Sri Lanka.
YS Jagan wrote on his Twitter page, “shocked at the malicious terrorist attacks in Srilanka. Strongly condemn this heinous act, & stand in solidarity with Srilanka at this distressing time. My prayers for the bereaved families and those injured in the blasts.”
Prime Minister Narendra Modi also conveyed heart-felt condolences at the loss of innocent lives in the attacks.
World leaders also condemned the series of blasts in Sri Lanka. Describing the bombings as horrible terrorist attacks, United States President Donald J. Trump said, America stands ready to help Sri Lanka.
New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern said, her country rejects all forms of extremism and stands for freedom of religion and the right to worship safely.
Leaders from several countries including Britian, Germany, Turkey, Bangladesh and Pakistan expressed solidarity with Sri Lanka in hour of grief.
Condemned the attacks, Pope Francis said he is praying for all those who are suffering from the bloodshed.
