The GDP growth rate of Bangladesh and Nepal is estimated to grow faster than India, as their growth rate is projected to grow 8.1 per cent and 7.1 per cent respectively.

According to World Bank’s latest report, the real Gross Domestic Product (GDP) growth of Bangladesh and Nepal is estimated to grow faster than India.

The World Bank in its Fall 2019 edition of the “South Asia Economic Focus: Making (De)centralization Work”, stated that India’s growth rate is projected to fall to 6 per cent this fiscal.

However, Bangladesh and Nepal are estimated to grow faster than India in 2019, as their growth rate is projected to grow 8.1 per cent and 7.1 per cent respectively.

Growth rate in South Asia is projected to fall to 5.9 per cent in 2019, down 1.1 percentage points from April 2019 estimates.
