Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu has said that there is need to promote Population growth in India, to keep up with the changing Population trends.
While addressing a gathering after launching four health schemes in Vijayawada, Naidu said that the focus of the nation should shift from population control to population promotion. He took the example of Japan and China, which they are now promoting population after facing problems owing to excessive aged and ageing population.
This is not the first time Chandrababu Naidu has raised his voice to reconsider the focus on population control. In his earlier speeches too, he urged people to have more Kids so that a healthy young population can be developed.
Well, Chandrababu has received Flak from different corners for his statements. Many question why does he wishes India to have more population when it is the prime reason for poverty and lack of proper nutrition among Children.
