The common question for everybody is why the Rayalaseema in Andhra Pradesh still acknowledged as a backward region though many chief ministers of Andhra Pradesh hailed from the region.
JanaSena party chief Pawan Kalyan too has asked the same question. JanaSena Chief on 4th December said Rayalaseema has remained a backward region though there are many chief ministers from the region.
The JanaSena Party believes that the leaders wishfully neglected the region, he said.
No industries, No Jobs.
Pawan Kalyan said “in fact, the youth of Rayalaseema are against the migrations. The leaders created terrible situations and perpetrated the people to leave villages if they did not support YCP leaders.”
The younger generations are forcibly shunted out by depriving them of jobs. Industries shall come to stop migrations.
“If we want industries to come, the YCP leaders have to work hard. The YCP leaders threaten the CEOs of companies by showing fingers if any Industry comes forward to set up plants in the region,” he said.
Firstly, Investments shall come to the State to provide 70 per cent of jobs to the local youth. Industries shall come and we need to create such a Peaceful situation. How will the industries come if the situation is like this? Kalyan questioned.
Development is possible if the youth of Rayalaseema fight courageously for change in the system.
“The youth of Rayalaseema wants a change. The political culture prevailed over the decades is causing inconvenience to them. Hence, I always say the words of Dr B R Ambedkar, who says the society has a lot of brave hearts. Development is possible if the youth of Rayalaseema fight courageously for change in the system. The Janasena Party is committed to the development of Rayalaseema,” said Kalyan.
When comes to Telugu language, Rayalaseema is the soil where we found first Telugu inscriptions. Great people like Annamacharya and Veera Brahmendra Swamy had moved on the soil.
The chief minister Jagan Reddy who came from the same soil has scrapped Telugu medium and introduced English medium.
“Every word I spoke has been distorted. Even the word Rama is also distorted by the YCP leaders. When I asked to safeguard the Telugu language, they say that I am opposing the English medium. Don’t trust these words. We need English medium, but there shall be an option for the students who wish to study in Telugu medium. Otherwise, it will be a violation of primary rights. There are Telugu medium schools on the border areas of Andhra Pradesh along with Oria, Kannada, Tamil and Urdu media,” he said.
Is the English medium also applicable for these languages? Or the government is removing Telugu medium with a sense of levity, he asked Jagan Reddy.
“The YCP leaders are unable to pronounce ‘thanks’ in Telugu. There are rules to use Telugu as an administrative language in the undivided State. Janasena demands all government directives shall be in Telugu for the administrative convenience” Kalyan said.
