The Prime Minister will join other contemporary world leaders at Madame Tussauds Hong Kong including United States President Barack Obama and Chinese President Xi Jinping as well as political giants of the past such as Mahatma Gandhi.

“We are delighted to welcome Mr. Modi to the world stage here at Madame Tussauds Hong Kong,” commented Jenny You, Director of Sales and Marketing, Madame Tussauds Hong Kong.

“It’s wonderful that he had the opportunity to see his figure in India earlier this week before the public get the chance to meet him here. His social media following shows just what immense interest there is in him and I’m sure that interest will be apparent here too, as guests get the chance to stand shoulder to shoulder with one of the most influential men in the world. And maybe even grab a selfie.”

Mr. Modi’s figure is dressed in his signature Kurta in cream with jacket and he is Featured in a traditional pose making a namaste gesture. Each figure took a team of talented artists four months and cost around HKD 1.8 million to create.
