JanaSena Party President Pawan Kalyan on 14th January during a press conference in Kakinada said that it is inexcusable that the police personnel not only using abusive language but also became mute spectators when Janasena workers are being attacked.
The police had acted responsibly when Tuni incident took place, he said.
The JanaSena Chief said “the government is foisting false cases against the Farmers of the capital city and attacking the Women.”
The anti-social elements will unleash terror if Janasena wanted to take up a protest rally in support of Amaravati farmers, who sacrificed their lands for the capital city, he said.
The police did not give permission owing to law and order problem, he said.
Now they are resorting to attacks on the Janasena workers and Women who are doing protests Peacefully and in turn, they are filing cases against them, Kalyan said.
Shall we don’t have the right to express our protest? He questioned the government.
I am saying since 2014 elections that faction feuds come to fore if the YCP brought into power, he said.
The State never witnessed such vulgar language and the people’s representatives who used such as language, Kalyan said.
He also said that they assumed charge as police officers promising that they will protect the people. They shall not shield the injustice. We asked our leaders to meet the District Superintendent of Police.
He further said that they shall register cases against the persons who resorted to attacks on Janasena workers and Women. The two police officers who acted irresponsibly during the attacks shall be suspended. Otherwise, we will take the matter to the notice of the Governor with a report and the Video footage.
“I would like to make it clear to the Police department that higher officials and the people who are running the government that we won’t sit idle if the similar incident took place again,” said Kalyan.
They shall realise that we came to politics setting aside all fears, he added.
