Actresses joining politics once they are out of Film offers is nothing new to Movie buffs.
Following the suit, buxom queen Namitha has now joined AIADMK party in the presence of party President and Tamil Nadu chief minister Jayalalithaa. Namitha was offered party membership card during the public meeting in Trichy on 23rd.
Most of the pre-poll surveys have predicted that Jayalalithaa has every chance of retaining the power with clear majority in the forthcoming Assembly polls. Hence Namitha might have decided to join AIADMK to have a safe career.
Reportedly, few days ago, Namitha has written a letter to Jayalalithaa expressing her wish to join AIADMK ahead of the general Assembly Polls. In the letter, Namitha claimed that she got inspired by the Leadership qualities and the Welfare Schemes introduced by Jayalalithaa.
Namitha is expected to tour across Tamil Nadu to canvass for AIADMK. Being one of the most influential actresses in Tamil Nadu, Namitha enjoys humongous fan base. She is expected to get good post after the elections.
