Bollywood Filmmaker Kabir Khan had to face the ire of a group of Pakistani protesters who threatened him against making “Anti-Pakistan films”.
Kabir Khan went to Karachi as a guest speaker at the Marketing Association of Pakistan’s annual conference (MARCON). Soon after the filmmaker reached the Jinnah International Airport in the city, the protesters surrounded him and started chanting pro-Pakistan slogans.
Kabir Khan’s latest directorial, Saif Ali Khan and Katrina Kaif starrer “Phantom” was banned in Pakistan as the country felt it was depicted in a bad light in the film based on the 26/11 terror attacks in Mumbai. When Phantom released, it sparked a row in Pakistan before it was banned from screening in Pakistani theatres.
