The Ministry of Development of North East Region (DoNER) proposes to monitor the progress of various developmental projects in the North East region through satellite images.
The monitoring of various developmental projects is proposed through a GIS cell to be established in the NEC Secretariat, in consultation with North Eastern Space Application Centre (NESAC) located at Umiam, Meghalaya.
