If the sources are to be believed, there is no buyer to release Superstar Mahesh Babu’s upcoming family entertainer “Brahmotsavam” in Tamil Nadu.
The Film is being made as a bilingual in Telugu and Tamil. The initial plan was to release the film simultaneously in Tamil and Telugu. Even though the Telugu version has done the highest pre-release business in Mahesh’s career, latest reports revealed that no buyer is showing interest to release the Tamil Version.
Earlier, Mahesh’s blockbuster ‘Srimanthudu’ was titled as ‘Selvandhan’ and released in Tamil Nadu only to witness quite the opposite response to Telugu result. Hence no buyer is daring to grab the Tamil rights of Brahmotsavam especially when the filmmakers are being greedy and quoting astronomical sum.
So, the film is gearing up for a grand release on 20th/27thof this month in only the Telugu states. If the film becomes a hit then it will be released in Tamil Nadu at a later point of time.
The Movie directed by Srikanth Addala is produced by PVP Cinema. The film’s audio launch event will take place on May 7 in Hyderabad.
