Participating in various development works, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu said that the government is planning to bring 9 lakh acres in Srikakulam under irrigation by linking the Vamsadhara and the Nagavali rivers.
Linkage of the rivers, he said, would be planned on the lines of Pattiseema and would help generate more income locally.
Meanwhile, the Chief Minister inaugurated a Rs. 9-crore water project aimed at providing drinking water to 31 villages in and around Killipalem.
