The moment is eventually right here. Tollywood prince Mahesh Babu is back with a family entertainer ‘Brahmotsavam’. This is Srikanth Addala directorial.
Right from the start, the Film tended to give the feeling that it is destined to be a festivity and that is certainly how the film is.
Story at a glance:
Satyaraj is a wealthy entrepreneur who took control of his father from simple root base, and went on create a strong enterprise. Ajay (Mahesh Babu) is a very well behaved as well as respectful child of Satyaraj and Revathi.
On the contrary his lifestyle transforms upside down when he meets the daughter (Kajal Agarwal) of his father’s friend. As the two find out that they love each other and just kiss, Sathyaj’s brother-in-law (Rao Ramaesh) notices him and the bomb drops.
A huge combat erupts in the family and all the good relations weaken at the blink of an eye. It continues to be to be seen exactly how Mahesh is going to create a good reputation of his loved ones once again.
Actors and Performances:
Mahesh Babu reaches his Best as an energetic as well as joyful boy. His sense of humor and appeal stands out as the strength of the Movie.
On top of that, he proves that he can be really flexible too when it comes to emotional scenes. The Chemistry between Kajal and Mahesh is blazing and will have all of your attention.
There is not much to say about Pranitha’s character, it has been wasted. The second half sees the arrival of Samantha Ruth Prabhu, who is a delight to watch here and helps in keeping the story going.
A further Feature about Brahmotsavam is the cast, filled with veterans like Satyaraj, Revathi, Jayasudha, Sayaji Shinde and Saranya.
Technical Aspects:
Although the visuals are simply spectacular with grand mansions, wedding ceremonies and family meetings, the slow moving plot eliminates the complete curiosity.
The National Award winnerThota Tharani is back with magnificent sets. Mickey J Meyer’s background score is enjoyable. When it comes to Songs, Vacchindi Kada Avakasam is one of the best tracks.
There are numerous shades through the entire movie and that is exactly where cameraman Ratnavelu scores once again.
