Filmmaker Anurag Kashyap on Wednesday pulled the Censor Board to the Bombay High Court over the alleged cuts as well as removal of references to Punjab in his Movie Udta Punjab.
The petition is filed by Phantom films, a production and distribution company founded by Anurag Kashyap.
The producers of the movie, including Kashyap have demanded a copy of the order passed by the Censor Board’s review committee which allegedly suggested cuts.
It states that the government and censor panel ought to Share the committee’s decision on the objectionable scenes as well as dialogues in the film.
