India Post is planning to establish a total of 95 ATMs across Andhra Pradesh and Telangana states.
According to B V Sudhakar, Chief Postmaster General, AP Circle, 36 ATMs will be in Telangana and the remaining in Andhra Pradesh.
All the Head Post Offices in both the states are now on core Banking solution (CBS) platform, he said.
He inaugurated the first India Post ATM in Telangana State on Tuesday at the Hyderabad GPO.
According to India Post’s statement, around 2,438 sub- post Offices in the two states are also being upgraded to the same platform amid 2015-16.
