YS Jagan called for Students to join Special Status movement

YSRCP President and Opposition party leader of AP, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, addressing a huge gathering in Tirupati, asked for everyone including students to join the movement for the Special Status for AP. Jagan reminded that special status is the right of every individual of this state.

Jagan added, ‘The Central Government is trying to allot a comparatively meager special package to AP instead of special status. The special package is no match to the exclusive special status which has benefits like tax exemptions, Central Universities, employment opportunities, Industrial boom etc.’

‘The Central government and honorable Union minters are confusing us with statements like 14th Finance Commission, special package etc but in fact they are cheating us. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has promised that Special status will be given to AP as the state is struggling financial issues, mainly no capital city,’ reiterated Jagan.

Finally, Jagan has requested everyone to join him in the indefinite fast that he is going to start from 26th of this month.
