During the District Collectors conference, the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh Chandrababu Naidu said that the state is aiming for double digit growth in Gross State Domestic Product (GSDP) in 2015-16 Financial Year.
He added that transforming AP as the Number one state in the country by 2029 should be their agenda. Babu advised the collectors to effectively use Technology to implement welfare and development schemes and maintain transparency in every aspect.
TDP supreme informed that AP has seen a GSDP growth of 9.72% in the first quarter of 2015-16. agriculture Sector is the major contributor with 12.52% growth. Industry and Service Sector has also made impressive contribution.
Linking Rivers and making Godavari water viable to all the regions of the state is the main agenda for the coming years. Swachh Andhra Pradesh and eradication of poverty will be given utmost priority.
The collectors responded positively to Babu’s call and they have lauded him for the recent industrial Investments he has brought to the state.
