Nandamuri Bala Krishna’s last release ‘Lion’ was a flop in the Telugu states. However, the surprising news about the Film is that the Bollywood remake of this film is in the offing.
A leading Bollywood production house is currently in negotiations with the makers of “Lion” to acquire the Hindi remake rights since none other than, Bollywood star hero Ajay Devgn has shown interest to act in the remake.
As per reports, Ajay liked the story immensely and has decided to reprise the role of Balayya Babu in Hindi. Balayya’s CBI officer character and the way he is fooled to believe that he is altogether a different person, has excited the star hero very much, it is reported.
Director of ‘Lion’, Satya Deva, also confirmed this remake news. If the deal breaks between the makers, this project will go on floors by the end of next year.
