Gunasekhar’s forthcoming Film ‘Rudramadevi’ starring Anushka Shetty in title role, has gone for Censor screening today and it has been cleared with “U/A” certificate.
Said to be the first Indian Historical Stereophonic 3D film, ‘Rudramadevi’ is produced and directed by Gunasekhar. It is set for Worldwide release on 9th October, 2015.
Made on high standards, the film has interesting actors like Rana Daggubati, Allu Arjun, Krishnam Raju, Catherine Theresa, Nithya Menon, Prakash Raj etc.
Musical score is by Ilayaraja while Cinematography is by Ajay Vincent. National Award winning editor Srikar Prasad has worked for this film with ‘Padma Sri’ Thota Tharani working in the art department.
After numerous postponements, the film is finally set for release. The promos released received negative response as the VFX was not upto the standards hence the distributors stayed away from the film.
‘Rudramadevi’ will be having heavy competition from Ram Charan’s ‘Bruce Lee’ and Akhil Akkineni’s ‘Akhil’, which are slated for release on 16th and 22nd of October respectively.
