To the utter dismay of Bollywood heroes Ranbir Kapoor and actor-producer Farhan Akhtar, an FIR has been registered against the both for criminal breach of trust and forgery.
All this happened as the duo promoted an online Shopping site called “askmebazaar.com”. The other day, a lawyer named Rajat Bansal has filed a criminal case against the two actors under IPC sections 420 (forgery) and 406 (Punishment for criminal breach of trust).
As per Rajat Bansal, he has purchased an LED TV on “askmebazaar.com” for Rs 30,000 but it hasn’t been delivered to him even after 10 days.
In his complaint, he accused that the promotions by Celebrities such as Ranbir Kapoor and Farhan Akhtar made him believe the E-commerce site and fall in the trap.
As of now, police are investigating the issue. The online site couldn’t be contacted.
