Tennis Star Sania Mirza Clinches another Title

Top seed Indo-Swiss pair of Sania Mirza and Martina Hingis seems to be unstoppable on the Tennis court. Not long after clinching the US Open Grand Slam of this year, they won the Guangzhou International Women’s Open title.

In the final match that happened on 26^th of this month, Sania and Hingis defeated Chinese pair Shilin Xu-Xiaodi You in consecutive sets (6-3, 6-1). This is their 6th title of the season after they started playing together from March 2015.

This Indo-Swiss pair has so far won Indian Wells, Miami, Charleston, Wimbledon and US Open titles. Sania Mirza proudly tweeted, “Title number 6 together @mhingis” after winning.

Hope she continues to make India proud.
