Apparently, even the President of the United States can experience difficulty with his credit card.
Barack Obama on Friday said his card was declined at a New York restaurant he went to while going by the United Nations.
“I was there amid the General Assembly, and my credit card was rejected,” Obama said at the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, where he uncovered new measures to stem charge card misrepresentation and fraud.
“It turned out, I figure I don’t utilize it enough. So they thought there was some extortion going on,” he said to giggling, including “luckily, Michelle had hers.”
