After much discussion, Megastar Chiranjeevi has finally given his nod to do the remake of Tamil blockbuster Film Kaththi starring Viajy in the lead role and directed by AR Murugadoss. Chiru’s trusted mate VV Vinayak has been chosen to direct this comeback film.
As per sources, the announcement regarding this will be made during the audio launch event of Ram Charan’s ‘Bruce Lee’, which is bound to happen today evening at Shilpa Kala Vedika, Hyderabad. It is well known that Megastar has played a 3 minute cameo in this film.
Charan has already bought the remake rights of ‘Katthi’. Vinayak has earlier directed Megastar in ‘Tagore’, which turned out to be Industry hit then. Since the comeback film is very much prestigious to Chiru, he has once again summoned Vinayak to take the responsibility.
Chiru’s confidence on AR Murugadoss is also another reason for selecting ‘Katthi’. Previously, Chiru has remade Murugadoss directorials such as ‘Tagore’ and ‘Stalin’.
