Andhra Pradesh Government has announced that only people who shift their base from Telangana to Andhra Pradesh by June 2nd, 2017, will be treated as people of the state. The key decision was taken during the Cabinet meeting on 1st October, chaired by Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu.
This decision of AP govt. has cleared the objections raised by Government Employees who are set to shift to Vijayawada from Hyderabad. To be able to utilize the employment opportunities and various other provisions of AP, employees and students must shift to AP before the schedule date.
This means, most of the Andhra people living in Hyderabad and other Telangana areas, will have to shift to their own state even before the first phase of AP Capital city construction completes.
AP Ministers AtChennaidu and Palle Raghunatha Reddy informed about the key decision of the Cabinet to media. They added, ‘State Government will appeal Centre to issue a Presidential order on nativity status if requirement comes’.
