A day after suspending 28 MLAs of opposition from Telangana Assembly, ruling TRS party implemented similar technique in the State Legislative Council by suspending 5 Congress and 1 BJP members.
As soon as the House commenced yesterday, on 6th October, BJP and Congress members asked for a debate on the loan waiver for Farmers but Speaker Swamy Goud took up other issues.
Despite Speaker urging the members not to raise placards and slogans, and assuring that the issue of loan waiver for farmers will be discussed after the question hour, the above reported MLCs rushed to the well of the House and raised slogans.
Vexed, Minister Thummala introduced the motion for suspending 5 Congress and 1 BJP MLC, who were disrupting the proceedings and Speaker approved. This suspension will apply to the entire current session.
TRS is making a statement that they will not hesitate to go any length if the opposition tries to outsmart them.
