Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday hailed off Run for Unity from Vijay Chowk to mark the birth anniversary of India’s first Home Minister Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel.
Modi strolled along the Raj Path to India Gate in the wake of hailing of the run in which many people took an interest.
PM Modi on Friday said Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel’s life was a journey of “service to the country” and he was “really the draftsman of present day India”.
Modi said in his tweet “Sardar Patel’s life is a journey of profound established boldness, commitment & service to the Motherland. He is truly the architect of Modern India.”
