Akkinenni Nagarjuna, who has recently wrapped up the shooting of ‘Soggade Chinni Nayana’, will also be seen in the multistarrer ‘Oopiri’ with Karthi. After starting the third season of ‘Meelo Evaru Koteeswarudu’, Nag has now signed to play lead actor in a new flick to be directed by Kranthi Madhav.
This critically acclaimed director has made mature Movies like Onamalu and Malli Malli Idi Rani Roju. Actually, Kranthi Madhav first approached Venkatesh with the same story and despite Venky first committed to do the Film he cancelled it even after the official announcement due to unknown reasons.
Kranthi Madhav then approached and narrated the subject to Nagarjuna. The senior actor gave his consent to the clean family entertainer as he immensely liked the story.
It is not yet known why Venky rejected the film. Probably, he wanted to do the film in the direction of Maruthi, who recently delivered blockbuster like ‘Bhale Bhale Magadivoy’.
