The general norm in the Industry is that if a director scores a hit, he gets surrounded by producer with fat checks requesting him to make Films for them, but if the same director scores a flop then no one will even look at him.
However, the actor – producer Nandamuri Kalyan Ram is different. More than the success, he searches for talent in a director and if he finds such, it doesn’t matter to him, if the director delivers a hit or flop.
Kalyan Ram is coming up with his new film ‘Sher’. It is directed by Mallikarjun, the dame director who delivered duds like ‘Abhimanyu’ in 2003 and ‘Katthi’ in 2010 with Kalyan Ram.
After delivering two flops, no actor will give chance to the same director but Kalyan Ram did as he feels that Mallikarjun is a talented director but somehow the stories didn’t work out.
Kalyan Ram is definitely a courageous actor.
