Chandrababu to lay Foundation Stone for FNCS in Vizag

What could be considered as a big move to develop Film Industry in Visakhapatnam, today, Andhra Pradesh CM Chandrababu Naidu will lay the foundation stone of the Film Nagar Cultural Society (FNCS).

The FNCS will be developed in 15 acres on a hilltop at Vaarija Ashram near Kapuluppada on the Bheemili road. It will Feature a convention hall and other structures.

The government had sanctioned some land to late legendary producer Rama Naidu, who had already built a film studio at Timmapuram.

Actors like Chiranjeevi and Mohan Babu have also expressed interest to construct film studios in Visakhapatnam if provided government lands. The revenue department has already carried out inspection on the beach road to locate land.

Ever since the state division, there has been discussion that the film Industry will relocate to Vizag but this move by AP could only be seen as an extension of Tollywood but not relocation.
