Commercial taxes minister of Telangana State, Talasani Srinivas Yadav has the other day warned the tax evaders of the state with dire consequences. He went to announce cash prize for the whistle blowers and introduced a toll free number for the same.
Surprisingly, on the same day of his announcement, a court in Ranga Reddy district, issued an order to seize over Rs 2 crore worth properties belonging to the Minister’s daughter and relatives.
Court order has come in the wake of Swetha Yadav, daughter of Talasani Srinivas Yadav failing to repay the Rs 1 crore loan taken from DHFL Housing Finance Ltd bank for the construction of ‘Mye Infra Pvt Ltd’, two years ago.
The bank has already started the process of seizing the properties of the minister. The mortgaged properties include the villas and flats under the name Mye Infra and few personal properties.
