According to Association for Democratic Reforms (ADR), at least 30 percent of the ministries in PM Modi’s council of ministries have criminal accusations against them.
As per ADR, 20 of 64 ministers examined on the premise of their own statements face criminal indictments, while 92 percent of the minsters are multi-millionaires.
Of the 21 newly inducted ministers, eight have proclaimed criminal cases.
The average assets size of the newly inducted ministers is Rs.18.48 crore.
Y.S. Chowdary, Rajya Sabha member from Andhra Pradesh belonging to Telugu Desam Party,proclaimed the highest total assets of Rs.189.69 crores followed by Sinha with assets worth Rs.55.67 crores and Sharma with aggregate assets worth Rs.47.37 crores.
