Media baron Ramoji Rao, who is well known for his proximity with Telugu Desam party (TDP), has been raising eye brows in political circles these days with his closed curtain meetings with opposition leaders.
After meeting YSRCP chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, couple of days back, now he has met All Indian Congress Committee (AICC) general secretary DigVijaya Singh.
Accompanied by Telangana PCC President Uttam Kumar Reddy, Digvijay has met Ramoji Rao at the Ramoji Film City in Hyderabad. Although the Congress members termed the visit as a courtesy call, analysts feel that the meeting took place in view of the upcoming by polls.
Not stopping there, Divijaya Singh also met Andhra Jyothi Editor Vemuri Radha Krishna. After these two high profile people, he met the editor of a popular Urdu daily.
It seem that Digvijaya Singh’s meetings definitely have connection with the upcoming by-polls in Telangana and the roles that media has to play at that time.
