The Worldwide Television premiere of Rajamouli’s epic Film ‘Baahubali’ was held on 24th October in MAA TV, the Telugu version and Set Max will telecast the Hindi version on 25th Oct. Malayalam version was telecasted almost two weeks ago.
Now, what about the Tamil version? As of now, there is no news about it. As per latest reports, the satellite rights of Tamil version have not yet been sold.
In spite of the Tamil entertainment channels are ready to pay huge sum to the tune of Rs 10 Crore for satellite rights, which is whopping price for a Telugu Film, the makers of Baahubali are heard to be demanding nothing less than Rs 15 Crore.
Tamil channels have backed out with this kind of amount in demand. They are waiting for the makers to decease the price but the makers are confident and are waiting for the channel to agree to their demands.
Few feel that the makers of Baahubali are acting greedy. Others feel that Baahubali is bound to fetch astronomical amount through Advertisements so makers are demanding what is worth.
