Andhra Pradesh Assembly Speaker Kodela Sivaprasad Rao, who earlier had announced that the Winter Session of Assembly will take place at Thullur, the proposed new capital region, has the other day made it clear that the Winter sessions will take place in Hyderabad itself.
Kodela claims short time span prevented the Government of Andhra pradesh from setting up a temporary Assembly in Thullur.
However it is widely believed that AP Government and Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu have called off the plans to hold the Winter sessions in Thullur in view of the upcoming GHMC Polls.
Chandrababu took this call with the fear of losing votes of settlers in Hyderabad. Telangana TDP leaders are heard to have influenced Babu to take this new decision so that the TDP can affectively face KCR and TRS in GHMC polls.
TDP’s new move seems to have irked TRS a bit since the TRS leaders commented that it’s not right to alter the earlier made plans just for political reasons.
