Already many senior Telangana TDP leaders have ditched the party and joined ruling party of the state, TRS. Now Telangana TDP Rajya Sabha MP Gundu Sudha Rani is set to join TRS on 29th October.
Sudha Rani’s meeting with TRS Lok Sabha deputy floor leader and Karimnagar MP Vinod Kumar has confirmed her entry to TRS and the official announcement will be made in two days.
After the bifurcation of united Andhra Pradesh, Sudha Rani was allotted to Telangana by draw of lots.
Sudha Rani is heard to have taken the decision of joining TRS in the wake of by-polls for the Warangal constituency. As per sources, Sudha Rani has already met the TRS President and the Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao and got his nod.
After the cash for vote scam and the latest brawl between Revanth Reddy and Errabelli Dayakara Rao, this is the most serious blow to Telangana segment of TDP, which has been making efforts to evolve as National Party.
