As the third phase of polling in Bihar has started the other day, MIM chief and Hyderabad MP Asaduddin Owaisi was arrested for making derogatory comments against Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi while addressing an election rally in Kishanganj, Bihar.
Owaisi had been campaigning in the Muslim majority Seemanchal area while he made the comments. He was also charged for making controversial comments against Modi and some BJP leaders on his Facebook account.
Few days ago, Asaduddin Owaisi’s brother Akbaruddin was also arrested in connection with a case registered against him for making inflammatory speech at an election rally during campaigning for Bihar polls.
It is well known that MIM is entering Bihar state by contesting six seats in the ongoing Assembly elections. It seems to be a Strategy of the party to make headlines by making inflammatory comments and subsequently get arrested, only to get the sympathy of public.
