Irritated with the attitude of officials and Ministers, two TDP leaders from Guntur district have threatened to quit the party at a review meeting happened in Guntur.
Narasaraopet TDP MP and six times MP Rayapati Sambasiva Rao warned that he would quit the party and resign to his post if the officials continue to ignore his repeated pleas for developmental activities in his constituency.
Rayapati showed a bunch of papers related to pending drinking water projects in several Assembly constituencies that fall under his Parliamentary constituency. He went up to the dais of agriculture Minister Prathipati Pulla Rao and threatened to quit.
Pulla Rao and District Collector Kantilal Dande requested him to calm down and assured that apporavls for pending projects would be given soon.
Senior leader and Pedana MLA Kagita Venkat Rao has also threatened to resign to his post if the government fails to release water for Farmers in his constituency. He rues that his repeated requests to Irrigation Minister Devineni Umamaheswara Rao were ignored so he is contemplating on resigning.
He also got assurance from the Agriculture Minister.
