As per reports, beauty queen Aishwarya Rai Bachchan has lost almost Rs 3 Crore with her comeback Film ‘Jazbaa’, which marked her return to silver screen after a gap of 3 long years.
Going into details, considering the popularity of Aishwarya and craze for her comeback film, makers of Jazbaa offered to pay her Rs 4 Crore as remuneration. Rs 1 crore was paid in advance but makers failed to settle the balance even when the film was supposed to hit screens.
Upset Aishwarya, refused to promote the film. Jazbaa director Sanjay Gupta had then stepped into action and resolved the issue by making Aish co-producer and promised her a profit sharing deal.
Much to the misery of Aishwarya, the film underperformed at the Box Office and hence the producers have dropped the idea of paying her back the pending Rs 3 Crore.
This situation hurt the actress a lot as she turned down several lucrative opportunities before signing this film.
