The national airlines, Air India, has been in the news in the recent times for all the wrong reasons.
As per latest reports, Air India’s cabin crew on Delhi-London carrier was caught red-handed smuggling prohibited cough syrup Benadryl.
The cabin crew smuggled 450 bottles of the cough syrup Benadryl, which is not available in UK and many other foreign countries.
Although the incident happened a month back, the Airlines Management has now issued notices to the cabin crew involved in the shameful smuggling act.
As per the management of Air India, the staff involved in the smuggling will be terminated from service.
In the past too, Air India staff were suspended for smuggling gold and other prohibited substances.
