Speaking to media at the state Secretariat in Hyderabad, Telugu Desam Party MP JC Diwakar Reddy has today made few sensational comments on AP special status, BJP and Bihar Poll Results.
Diwakar Reddy said that the defeat of Bharatiya Janata Party in the Bihar Assembly polls is a lesson for the saffron party.
“Andhra Pradesh people kept lot of hopes on TDP and BJP alliance but BJP cheated them and now it is dreaming of remaining in power in the state for the next 10 years. Bihar elections is a wakeup call for BJP and the same is going to happen in AP in next elections,” he added.
He confirmed that AP will never get the Special Category Status and everyone, including the CM, ministers, MPs and MLAs, know about this. He added that even common people know about this.
It has to be seen how his statements will be received by BJP. His comments might even impact the ties between TDP and BJP. At the moment, BJP leaders are not daring to show their faces to media after the shameful loss in Bihar.
