Censor Board’s Shock to ‘Prem Ratan Dhan Payo’

Bollywood Superstar Salman Khan’s upcoming Film ‘Prem Ratan Dhan Payo’ is all set to hit screens on 12th November, on the eve of Diwali festival. Recently, the Censor Board has shocked the makers of the clean family entertainer when it was screened for Censoring.

As per reports, the Censor Board has asked the makers for 3 cuts. The makers obliged without creating any fuss.

Interestingly, the film is directed by Sooraj Barjatya, who has given cleanest possible films like ‘Maine Pyaar Kiya’, ‘Hum Aapke Hain Kaun’, ‘Hum Saath Saath Hain’, ‘Vivaah’ etc. His films are considered epitome for family Audiences. However, for the first time, his film was asked for cuts by the Censor Board.

Reportedly, the Censor Board has asked to remove the Rakhail (Keep) word, a dance sequences participated by an old couple and asked to remove the close shot and use the long shot for a scene where a character hangs him.

Many filmmakers of bollywood have been criticizing the silly cuts imposed by the Censor Board.
