Saucy seductress Shruti Haasan has recently become the only actress to score Rs 100 Crore plus Grossers in Telugu, Tamil and Hindi. With successes like ‘Srimanthudu’ and ‘Vedalam’ in her kitty, now she is set to experiment.
Naga Chaitanya Akkineni’s new Film, the official Telugu remake of blockbuster Malayalam film ‘Premam’, will see Shruthi Haasan reprising the role of Malar, played by Sai Pallavi in the original.
For the starters, in the Malayalam version, Sai Pallavi was seen with pimples and scars on her face. It is heard that Shruthi is also going to done a de-glam look in the film with minimal makeup.
Sources added that Shruthi will wear specially made Mangalagiri Cotton sarees in the film. While Naga Chaitanya will be seen as a final year Engineering student of Telangana origin, Shruti will play the role of an Andhra based girl who leaps out to Hyderabad to teach computer science.
Shruthi has to look elder to Chaitu hence the de-glam look and Mangalagiri sarees to maintain the heroine charm.
