Chennai has witnessed the worst Rainfall in the past few days. Normal life has come to a standstill in the Tamil Nadu Capital due to the floods. Leading actors of Telugu cinema have announced contribution for flood-affected people of Tamil Nadu.
“I would like to donate 25 lakh to Chennai flood relief. I spent 18 years of my early life there. It made me who I am today. I love u Chennai,” tweeted stylish star Allu Arjun.
Mahesh Babu has announced Rs 10 Lakh.
NTR has announced Rs 10 lakh while his elder brother Kalyan Ram Nandamuri has announced Rs.5 lakh to the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister’s Relief Fund.
“#PrayforChennai it’s time to be humans by helping each other when nature tests our integrity. I request everyone to help the needed in the Best ways possible. am gonna do mine,” tweeted NTR.
“Shocked and saddened at the natural calamity engulfing Chennai. This is the time to stand in support for our fellow citizens. I did my bit,” tweeted Ravi Teja. He contributed Rs 5 lakh.
Varun Tej tweeted, “Let us all pray for the victims and survivors of #ChennaiFloods and hope they overcome this calamity…Let us all do the needful!..”. He announced Rs 3 lakh.
Sai Dharam Tej tweeted, “I’ll be donating 3 lakhs worth of food,medical supplies and Clothing for the needy through my chennai friends. #ChennaiRainsHelp”.
Sundeep Kishan tweeted, “Sending out 5000 Food Packets to affected areas in Chennai from my house there..pls do your Bit..Timely Help is the greatest help ever.”

Sampoornesh Babu was the first Telugu actor to donate Rs 50,000 for relief fund. All the Tollywood stars have voluntarily offered assistance to the victims of Chennai rains.
