There have been rumors circulating for a long time that short beauty Alia Bhatt will be cast opposite Bollywood Superstar Shah Rukh Khan in Karan Johar’s production venture to be helmed by Gauri Shinde.
Contrary to the rumors, now it is heard that Shah Rukh is not playing the male lead but he will be seen in an extended cameo in the Film. It is a said to be Women-centric project featuring Alia Bhatt as leading lady and it will have three male leads. The lead actors have not yet been finalized.
The film will be jointly produced by Shah Rukh Khan’s Red Chillies Entertainment and Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions banner. This film will be Gauri Shinde’s second directorial project after the critically and commercially successful “English Vinglish” starring Sridevi, which was released in 2012.
Alia Bhatt is already making her presence felt in Hindi film Industry with back to back Movies with acclaimed directors. After the flop of ‘Shandaar’, she is ready to reemerge with this film.
Alia said that her dream of sharing screen space with Shah Rukh Khan will be coming true with this film.
