Star director VV Vinayk, speaking for the first time after the disaster of his directorial, Akhil Akkineni’s first Film Akhil, said that he made a huge mistake with Akhil and then requested the fans and everyone involved in the film to pardon him for the huge losses incurred.
Akhil was the most eagerly awaited debut film ever in the recent times but it bit dust miserably post release. Despite heavy expectations and made on a Budget of nearly 40 crores, the action entertainer failed to recover even half of the Investments of distributors.
After apologizing, Vinayak promised that he will be more cautious for his future film and will bounce back with a big success. It is well known that Vinayak’s next film will be Megastar Chiranjeevi’s Kaththi remake. Vinayak added that every filmmaker in Tollywood makes mistakes except SS Rajamouli. He accepted that he made a big blunder for the first time in his career in the case of Akhil.
However, he said that Akhil Akkineni had done a great job in the film.
