Welcome to India where one can see the brutal rapist getting released with full police protection and the victims who are fighting for justice get detained.
The juvenile convicted in the 2012 Nirbhaya case along with five other men, has been released from the correctional home. Now, even Delhi Police have no idea about this whereabouts. In fact, the juvenile was shifted out of the correctional facility around 4 days ago and was taken to an undisclosed location under the observation of an NGO.
The juvenile was under 18 years of age when he was held with five other for brutally raping and murdering a paramedical student on December 16, 2012, in Delhi. As per the Juvenile Justice Act of Great India, he was put in a correctional home for three years and released today.
Meanwhile the parents of the gang-rape victim were detained by Delhi police as they were protesting against the release of the juvenile and asking for justice. Reportedly they were taken outside Delhi in a bus.
