While hosting the latter for a private dinner, Russian President Vladimir Putin has gifted a page from Mahatma Gandhi’s dairy containing his handwritten notes and an 18th Century Sword from Bengal to visiting Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

The Indian PM arrived in Moscow to a red carpet welcome for a two-day visit to attend the 16th India-Russia annual summit meet. During this visit, a slew of agreements spanning multiple Sectors with trade being a major focus area, are expected to be signed after summit meeting.
Modi will also address the Indian community in Russia apart from visiting Russia’s National Crisis Management Centre (NCMC) in Moscow
