AAP chief Arvind Kejriwal on Saturday took pledge as the eighth Chief Minister of Delhi.
Kejriwal promises to make Delhi the first Corruption free state and act against communal elements.
Immediately, after taking oath at the historic Ramlila ground in Delhi, Kejriwal addressed the event and divulged the needs of his government which included steps against corruption, communal elements, VIP culture and guaranteed Delhi people that his administration will battle for full statehood for the national capital.
Cautioning the party leaders and activists against arrogance, he said this was the reason behind the thrashing of Congress and the BJP.
“I knew people of Delhi love me, but didn’t know they adore me to such an extent,” he added.
The AAP had won 67 of the 70 seats in Delhi and leaving just three seats for the BJP.
